Fall Silent Mini-Retreat

An invitation: September 21st offers a unique experience to spend the morning silently, alongside others but unplugged from speaking, email, reading, and electronics, to turn inward and give yourself some space with those interested in the same.

 

  • Is your mind is "full" of the news, media, and information? 

  • Would you like to reconnect with what is important to you? 

  • Are you curious about silent retreats and want to dip your toes into a short, guided experience?

  • Do you need a break from the daily hustle and pull of electronics?

  • Are you seeking more balance or perspective in your daily life?

 

After settling in as a group, participants will experience a guided morning of yoga practices (laughter, easeful yoga movement, body scan, walking, eating, and time to reflect and share) that support being present and quieting the mind.  By removing distractions like electronics and speaking, silent retreats can encourage a state of inner reflection, allowing time to review, acknowledge, and process things possibly overlooked in busy everyday life. 

Having taken a step back from living and working, many move forward with a sense of renewed clarity, creativity, purpose, or perspective

 Date:  Saturday, September 21

Time:  9:00AM-12:00PM

Cost:  $50/person |  Bring a friend: $40/person

Where: Art Academy of Milton, 38 S. Front Street, Milton PA

Some yoga experience is helpful, but not necessary.  Wear comfortable, layered clothing and bring a mat if you have one.
